Happy #NationalVolunteerWeek! SCACPA loves our volunteers, and we appreciate ALL our members – past, present and future – who give their time and talent to shape our association and the CPA profession in South Carolina. THANK YOU!

The Association salutes all those who serve as members of our Boards, Committees, Task Forces and Chapter leadership. THANK YOU for helping us serve all our members and the CPA profession in our great state. You set the tone for how we protect and promote the CPA credential.

You put in a lot of work, and we see amazing results from our members who work with Governmental Affairs, CPE Planning, Growing the Profession, Member Engagement, PAC Trust, Educational Fund Trust, Finance, Insurance Trust and the Editorial Task Force.

National Volunteer Week is also a great time to remind you that October’s CPA Month of Service will be here before we know it. Every year, SCACPA encourages our members to get out and volunteer for projects in their local communities. We celebrate your successes by honoring the firm, chapter or individual who goes above and beyond with our Community Connected Engagement Award. Let’s all give a big shout out to the third-annual winner of this award, Stokes & Company, CPAs.

As part of National Volunteer Week, SCACPA invites those who want to help to consider our Volunteer Interest Form. It’s designed for you to choose opportunities that interest you. We then contact you to suggest initiatives that match and make a difference in your community. We appreciate your interest in making South Carolina a better place to work and live!

When you can’t leave the office, SCACPA has flexible volunteer opportunities within our leadership, committees and task forces. We’ll find a way to help you participate. Ask us how you can volunteer with SCACPA and get more from your SCACPA membership!

A great volunteering experience begins with an environment where members have a supportive environment. Thank you again, SCACPA volunteers, and everything you do to drive the Association forward.
