Chapters are an integral part of SCACPA. Each regional chapter is an affiliate of the association, and exists to facilitate networking and educational opportunities tailored for its members.

Chapters play a vital role in the continuing recruitment of new members to the association. They also act as vehicles for developing relationships with area legislators, regulators, and other professionals. Every chapter is responsible to the association’s Board of Directors, and is included in the association’s annual financial audit.

As a member of SCACPA, you are invited to join one of our eight regional chapters. You are eligible to join the chapter in which you live or work, but you may only be a member of one chapter at a time.

If you are already a member of SCACPA and would like to join your local chapter, or for additional information regarding chapter events and benefits, please contact Chris Jenkins.

Being active in your community is fruitful for the soul and the greater good. Chapter socials are a great way to get involved in your local physical community, as well as the professional community – your fellow CPAs. You can never know too many people, have too many friends, or volunteer too often. See what’s going on in your local Chapter below!

High School CPA Advocacy – Check back for date and time

Join us at South Pointe High School where will we meet with junior and senior high school students in the Rock Hill School District to enlighten them about the benefits of becoming accountants and CPAs. In critical need for this event are young CPAs (age 30 and below) to connect with the students and demonstrate the breadth of benefits of being a CPA–the earnings potential, technological applications they will use and the scholarship monies available to them (many through SCACPA). Help us dispel the myth that CPAs are boring and work in a cubicle all day and help us show these students how exciting being a CPA can be!
