The SCACPA leadership convened last week to discuss how the Association should continue to promote and protect the CPA profession in South Carolina while delivering outstanding value to its members.

On Wednesday, Chapter leaders participated in a retreat. They shared their best practices for engaging members and students at the local level and how those activities deliver value. Their energy and dedication to the organization laid the groundwork for an exciting year to come.

On Thursday, your SCACPA Board of Directors met to advance the mission of the Association. Based on professional trends and feedback from you, the Board discussed and evaluated five impact statements rooted in the Five Pillars (Connect, Grow, Advocate, Communicate and Educate). Through this process, the Board identified several organizational goals for the next three years.

Through the strategic guidance of the Board, SCACPA will develop and enhance programs, products and services to position CPAs as the most trusted advisors in South Carolina. Look for a more in-depth look at SCACPA’s strategic goals in the upcoming issue of South Carolina CPA Report.
