Let’s review the standards issued and proposed by GASB, FASB and the AICPA during 2020’s second quarter.

While it was a slower quarter, GASB finalized quite a few final standards. It also issued exposure drafts for the conceptual framework and a preliminary views document on revenue and expenses.

FASB focused solely on COVID-19. The AICPA addressed COVID-19 as well, while also issuing the final standard in its reporting suite and four Technical Q&As.
