  • SCACPA Advocacy has been hard at work the past week making sure those affected by Hurricane Florence and the mandatory evacuation orders received a tax deadline extension. As of Monday, September 17, President Trump issued a major federal disaster declaration for the following South Carolina counties: Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, Georgetown, Horry, Marion, Organgeburg and Williamsburg. Please note we have Public Assistance, Individual Assistance is being reviewed. The IRS bases relief on Individual Assistance. All the latest updates can be found here.
  • We recognize we must find a solution to disaster-related tax extensions and are actively working on crafting a solution at the State level.
  • A Conformity Committee Meeting is scheduled for early this week. Conformity updates can be found on the SCACPA blog.
