Educate

  • The finishing touches are being made to the Spring Splash 2019 and 2019-2020 CPE schedule this week. We’re thrilled to continue to bring you new, exciting and relevant content that fits your interests and is flexible to your schedule. The Committee of 16 is always open to topic and speaker suggestions – let us know what you want to see on the schedule by emailing cpe@scacpa.org.

Communications

  • We are excited to hit the ground running with our #WhyCPA campaign! You may have seen a few teasers on our social media pages, and you can visit the Why CPA website page to learn more. We are the only organization in the state that promotes and protects the profession, and we are thrilled to be introducing this new member benefit just in time for tax season.
  • The Communications and Membership teams are gearing up to launch a recruitment campaign this month, targeting newly licensed CPAs and South Carolina CPAs who have never been Association members. With All Inclusive Membership, CPAs across the state should be excited at the potential of membership with the only organization in South Carolina that protects the profession. Join SCACPA today!
  • The RAP Index hit members’ inboxes on Monday, January 7. To effectively create a volunteer network of Members who want to be involved, we need to find key messengers and relationships we would never have known about otherwise, and the RAP Index will allow us to do just that. If you did not receive a RAP Index email survey and would like to participate, please email communications@scacpa.org.
  • The Marketing Guide and Firm Guide are getting face lifts! The Communications team is working to keep materials up to date and relevant. We are also getting ready to publish the latest CPA Report online as a PDF, for quick and easy access to quality profession related content.
  • A SCACPA Content Product about interviewing is in the works! In addition to standard tips and tricks, our content guide will feature quotes from members about what they specifically look for in candidates.
