If you’ve ever looked at an Excel spreadsheet and felt like you were searching for a needle in a haystack, you should know that Pivot Tables are just the magnifying glass you need.
In this week’s SCACPA #TechTuesday, tech guru and SCACPA CEO Chris Jenkins explains how Pivot Tables allow you to take complex data from an Excel spreadsheet and break into consumable chunks.
Using as his example the 2019-20 SCACPA CPE catalog, Chris’ tutorial shows how you can gain insights from filtering through groupings such as classroom location, category of learning and month that the course is offered. You can even choose if you want to view the data by rows and columns or via graphics such as pie charts.
“In under 10 minutes, we changed how you consume that data, and that’s the power of Pivot Tables,” Jenkins says.
