SCACPA congratulates Chris Hervochon, CPA, CVA, (SCACPA Member since 2017) for being selected among the 2019 “40 Under 40” in the Accounting Profession by CPA Practice Advisor magazine. He will appear in the December print edition of the magazine and online at cpapracticeadvisor.com.

The awards spotlight the top practicing public accountants, educators and thought leaders who are leading and changing the profession through exemplary leadership, innovative thinking, collaborative efforts to provide unity to the profession across the generations, and community outreach.

Hervochon will attend the Young Leaders Accounting Think Tank in Indianapolis from Oct. 16-18, which connects members of the “40 Under 40” group and other rising leaders in the profession. The event provides an annual forum for strategic thinking, creates a bridge to the existing Accounting Thought Leader Symposium and offers an opportunity for collaboration to discuss the current and future state of the accounting profession.

“I’m excited to hang out with the bright, young CPAs who will be at the think tank and hear their ideas about the profession,” Hervochon told SCACPA.
