There are 133,000 Fidelity 401(k) savings accounts with a balance of at least $1 million as of the third quarter of 2017, compared to 89,000 from a year earlier. Female 401(k) millionaires saw their ranks double to 20% when compared to 10% in 2005. And it’s not just because the market is on a run; the average 401(k) contribution rate is 8.5%, its highest mark in almost a decade.

USC Audit Uncovered $132,000 in Credit Card Theft

A routine audit found “suspicious activity” that led to a University of South Carolina Athletics Department employee confessing to a string of unauthorized purchases from 2013-2016 on official university credit cards. Items included tens of thousands of dollars in yard machines, computer and electronic gear, high-tech cameras, smartphones and sniperscopes, along with about $38,000 in gift cards for restaurants and retailers, records show.
