DIRECTIONS TO THE JOHN B. CLEVELAND EVENT CENTER
CLEVELAND PARK, SPARTANBURG, SC
From I-85 Business heading South
Take Exit 4-B; follow the frontage road to Hearon (traffic) Circle. Enter the traffic circle, and exit the circle in front of the sign for Miami Subs onto Asheville Highway (56E). Stay on Asheville Highway approximately 1.7 miles. Turn to the right onto N. Cleveland Park Drive at Enterprise Rent-a Car. Follow the road all the way around the lake to the parking lot at the second gated entrance. If you miss the turn at Enterprise Rent-a-Car go past the park and turn right onto S. Cleveland Park Drive and follow the perimeter of the park until you come to the first gated entrance.
From I-85 Business heading North
Take Exit 4-A to Asheville Highway; turn right onto Hearon (traffic) Circle and almost immediately exit off the traffic circle in front of the sign for Miami Subs onto Asheville Hwy. (56E). Stay on Asheville Highway approximately 1.7 miles. Turn to the right onto N. Cleveland Park Drive at Enterprise Rent-a Car. Follow the road all the way around the lake to the parking lot at the second gated entrance. If you miss the turn at Enterprise Rent-a-Car go past the park and turn right onto S. Cleveland Park Drive and follow the perimeter of the park until you come to the first gated entrance.
From downtown Spartanburg
Take N. Church St. to Asheville Highway toward I-85. The park is approximately ΒΌ mile on the left from the intersection where Church St. veers right and Asheville Highway begins. If you turn left onto S. Cleveland Park Drive before passing in front of the playground, follow S. Cleveland around the perimeter of the park until you come to a gated entrance. Turn into the gated entrance across from the maintenance building. If you pass the playground area turn left onto N. Cleveland Park Dr. at Enterprise Rent-a-Car and follow the road all the way around the lake to the second gated entrance.
From I-26
Take Exit 19-B onto I-26 North. Take Exit 4-A to Asheville Highway; at the stop sign turn right onto the traffic circle. You will almost immediately exit off the traffic circle in front of the sign for Miami Subs onto Asheville Hwy. (56E). Stay on Asheville Highway approximately 1.7 miles. Turn to the right onto N. Cleveland Park Drive at Enterprise Rent-a Car. Follow the road all the way around the lake to the parking lot at the second gated entrance. Look for the large green wooden building (with wrap-around porch) that sits across from the lake. The office is on the lower level of this building, facing the lake. (If you miss the turn at Enterprise Rent-a-Car go past the park and turn right onto S. Cleveland Park Drive and follow the perimeter of the park until you come to the first gated entrance.)
BUSES SHOULD NOT PULL INTO THE TURN-AROUND-CIRCLE ADJACENT TO THE EVENT CENTER BECAUSE THE CIRCLE IS TOO SMALL FOR A BUS, BUT YOU MAY PARK IN THE LARGE PARKING LOT TO UNLOAD PASSENGERS.
