Meet SCACPAs Administrative Team!
Erin Hardwick

Erin has served SCACPA as Executive Director since December 2005. In addition to supervising all Association activities, she is directly involved in SCACPA's legislative and advocacy program. She ensures that all Association Bylaws are followed and is a direct liaison to SCACPA's Board of Directors. Erin also handles issues as they relate to ethics and professional conduct. A native of Cheraw, SC, she received a BA from the University of South Carolina and focused her career on association management.

Reva Brennan, MPA, CAE, IOM

Reva is responsible for planning and administering SCACPA's CPE program and office administrative operations. She works closely with the Executive Director on Board relations and is responsible for several committees and task forces that lead the Association in fulfilling their mission. She has earned the Certified Association Executive designation (CAE), and is a graduate of the United States Chamber of Commerce Institute of Organizational Management (IOM). Reva holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs from Columbia College and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of South Carolina.

Karen Hancock, CPA

Karen manages all financial transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and daily banking transactions, including payroll. Along with the Executive Director, Karen develops and monitors budget worksheets, estimates of revenues and expenses throughout the fiscal year. She serves as the staff liaison to the Investment Committee and provides financial information as needed to facilitate other committees. Karen is orginally from Western North Carolina, receiving a BS in Business Administration from Western Carolina University. Karen received her CPA license in 1999.

Glenna Minor

Glenna began her career as a legal secretary before becoming director of education for the SC Realtors Association, where among many other duties she was responsible for Professional Standards procedures implementation, instruction and mediation. She is a certified mediator. Prior to joining SCACPA, Glenna spent eight years with the Home Builders Institute, managing two large federal grants that help train and place individuals in the home building industry. In addition to her full time work, for the past seven years she worked as a part-time supervisor at USC’s Institute for Public Service and Policy Research Survey Lab. Glenna heads SCACPA's peer review program, staffs the Education Fund Committee, and assists with the CPA-PAC and Key Person Contact programs.

Katherine Swartz
- Membership and Chapter Relations Manager (803) 791-4181 ext. 105
Katherine is responsible for managing all activities associated with membership, including recruiting new members and maintaining benefits that will add value to SCACPA members. Katherine also recruits student members, works with On-Campus Champions at local colleges and universities, manages the mentoring program and offers networking opportunities for members, firms, and students. She serves as staff liaison to the eight chapters of SCACPA, coordinating and facilitating chapter activities and continuing education. Katherine also provides assistance to the Board of Directors, particularly with activities such as their strategic planning process and retreat, Board meetings, the Annual Meeting and the annual legislative event. A native Columbian and graduate of the University of South Carolina College of Journalism and Mass Communications, Katherine returned to her home city from Atlanta, where she worked for several trade associations and non-profit organizations.

Meredith Moring

Meredith works with staff to create the many publications that SCACPA distributes including The CPA Report, Current Assets and the Tuesday Teaser. She also works to promote financial literacy through out the state. She distributes press releases to the media to promote the association and member accomplishments. She is also involved with the marketing of CPE courses offered through SCACPA. Meredith interned at the association while at USC and joined the staff full-time upon graduation in December 2008 with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications.
