Sylvia G. Kitchens is the legislative liaison and senior consultant in the areas of budget, fiscal analysis and evaluations for the Office of Administration and the Office of the Agency Director at the Department of Juvenile Justice. Sylvia graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a BS in Business Administration. Sylvia has worked with the South Carolina Office of the State Auditor where she served as Audit Supervisor. Sylvia is a member of the AICPA and the Government Finance Officers Association. She is active in the Central Chapter of SCACPA, where she has served as the CPE Coordinator, Secretary/Treasuer, Vice President and President. She has also served on several SCACPA committees including members in Government, CPE, Member Benefits, and the Finance and Audit committees.

Charles "Charlie" M. Redfern is a sole practitioner in Rock Hill, SC. Charles received his BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Charles is a member of the Rock Hill Rotary Club and is currently on their Board of Directors. He is also the Treasurer of the Rock Hill Country Club and the former Senior Warden and treasurer of the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, former president of the Upper Palmetto YMCA and treasurer of Kanuga Conferences Inc., an Episcopal Conference Center in Hendersonville, NC.

Charles "Eddie" Brown is Director of Tax at SwaimBrown, PA, a public accounting firm in Spartanburg, SC. Eddie received his BS in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. Eddie is also a Registered Investment Advisor. Since joining SCACPA in 1976, Eddie has served on various committees including: Peer Review, Business Valuation/Litigation Services, PrimePlus/Eldercare, International Business, and the Governance and Structure Task Force. Aside from his extensive accounting background, Eddie is also a distinguished veteran.

Tim Baker is a principal in the firm Baker Consulting, LLC formed in 2002 as a professional consulting firm specializing in applying software solutions to solve business problems. Tim has 13 years of business consulting experience in the public and private sector combined with 10 years of system selection, design and implementation experience. Since becoming a member of SCACPA in 1995, Tim has been very active serving on the Information Technology, Accounting Careers and Finance Committees. Tim also has the CMA and CITP designations.

J. Patrick "Pat" McDermott is the treasurer and controller for The Beach Company of Charleston, SC, a full service real estate company, including development, leasing and sales. Pat received his BS in Business Administration from The College of Charleston. Pat has served SCACPA in several capacities since becoming a member in 1982. He has chaired the Legislative and Advocacy Committee and the PAC committee. He also served on the Peer Review and the CPE committee. Pat is a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Charleston, SC, where he served on the Church Council as the treasurer and member of the finance committee. He has also served on the Board of Directors of The United Methodist Relief Center in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Doug is a principal at Robinson Grant & Co, a public accounting firm in Beaufort, SC. Doug manages a client load, guides, supervises and evaluates employee and serves as a member of the Board of Governors. Prior to his work at Robinson Grant & Co., Doug served in the US Marine Corp during Desert Storm. He received his BA in Business Administration from Campbell University. He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst. Doug is active in his local community, serving in various organizations including: Beaufort Water Festival, YMCA Expansion Committee, Beaufort Business Network, Sea Island Presbyterian Church and Citizens Opposed to Domestic Abuse.

Sharon Mann is the CFO at General Information Services, Inc., a company that specializes in employment screening for companies nationwide. Sharon received her BS in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. She has served on several SCACPA committees and has served as a Key Person Contact for several years. Sharon is also active in her local community, serving on the Boards for the National Kidney Foundation of South Carolina and the Palmetto Aids Life Support Services. She is also a member of the Friends of Accounting Board USC and has served in various positions for Presbyterian Women.

Michael Putich is a partner at Robinson Grant & Co., the largest locally owned public accounting firm in Beaufort County.  Michael specializes in accounting and auditing services as well as tax preparation and planning.  He has served on several of SCACPA's committees and has been assigned to strengthen the SCACPA's relationship with the banking community.  Michael is active in his local chapter and is currently serving as president of the Sea Island Chapter.  In addition to his accounting service, Michael volunteers his time to his family, his church, Boy Scouts of America and the Rotary Club.

Carroll Webster is a managing partner at WebsterRogers, LLP, a public accounting firm with offices in Florence, Myrtle Beach, Georgetown and Sumter. He received his BS in Accounting and his MBA from the University of South Carolina. For the first part of Carroll’s career, he was an accounting professor. He has served on various community and civic group boards, and is currently serving as a member of the Francis Marion Foundation Board. He is a Past President of SCACPA and has received SCACPA’s President’s Award and the prestigious Service to the Profession award.  He is erving a second term on the AICPA Council.

Larry Tuttle is a shareholder at Smith Sapp Bookhout Crumpler & Calliham, PA. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Business Administration, emphasis in accounting. He joined the AICPA and SCACPA in 1992 and has served on various state board committees, including the accounting careers/academic relations, taxation and currently serves on the CPE committee. He has served as an officer and past president of the Grand Strand Chapter. He currently serves as treasurer of the Horry County Gamecock Club and Surfside Cub Scout Pack 853. He has also served as a board member on the North-South Game Committee and trustee of Surfside United Methodist Church.

Jada Wood is a CPA at McAbee Talbert Halliday & Co., a public accounting firm in Spartanburg, SC. She focuses on tax and audits, specializing in government audits. She is a graduate of Converse College. Jada has served as the Foothills Chapter President. She is an active member of the Junior League of Spartanburg and the Chair of the Converse Fund for her class. She is a member of Northside Baptist church where she participates in the youth outreach ministry.

Erin Hardwick is executive director of the SCACPA. Prior to joining SCACPA, Erin was the executive director for the South Carolina Association of Non Profit Organizations, a position she held since the Association's founding in 1997. She is past board chair of the Lexington (SC) Chamber of Commerce; a 2004 graduate of the SC Executive Institute, a public administration sponsored by the SC Budget & Control Board and a graduate of two local leadership programs. Hardwick attended Lees McRae College in Banner Elk, NC and graduated from the University of South Carolina.
