Deloitte has released its “2016 Technology Fast 500” ranking, a list of the fastest-growing tech companies based in North America. Three of those companies are based in South Carolina.
The rankings are based on the percent growth in revenue between 2013 and 2016. Companies need to have been in business for at least four years and to have had at least $50,000 in operating revenue in 2013 to make the list.
The top-ranked SC firm to make the list was Charleston-based PhishLabs, a communications/networking company seeing 252% growth. It ranked No. 301.
The other two Palmetto State firms on the list are:
Greenville-based software company DOM360, which was No. 306; and
Charleston-based software company Benefitfocus Inc., which was No. 483.
The No. 1 company was Los Angeles-based Loot Crate, which has seen growth of nearly 67,000%.
