General Sessions

Everyone has a cause that speaks to their hearts and volunteering is a great way to give back to that cause, but what does volunteering give back to you? In this session, you will learn how volunteerism can help mold you into a community leader, and how to discover the right volunteer role for you!

This session is designed to help create a healthier team environment with free flowing communication, continual staff development and all-around happier workers. Cultivating a great working environment takes time and effort, and it’s not always one size fits all. Learn techniques to identify personality types/preferences of your employees, how to implement career paths and goals, and how to be intentional about how you manage your staff.

Learn what is new in employment law and how it will effect your company and your clients.

Discover tools that will help you work more effectily and efficiently. You will leave this session with applicable skills and knowlegde that will streamline your day to day work.

This presentation will cover all accounting and auditing standard updates issued in 2017, including Accounting Standards Updates (ASU), Statement on Standards for Accounting and Review Services (SSARS), Statements on Auditing Standards (SAS) and Statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE).

Have you ever wondered what separates good leaders from GREAT LEADERS? Look no further. This session will help you answer that question. The concepts introduced in this session will build upon the foundational theories discussed in the classic work on Situational Leadership by Kenneth Blanchard. Often managers fall into the trap of using "one size fits all" methods in approaching the constant variety of situations that they face on a daily basis. In this session we will unlock some of the strategies that you can employ to become a more excellent leader in almost ANY SITUATION. Nimble leaders who possess the strength and ability to lead in a variety of situations create an enormous amount of value for their organizations. Let us show you how to get there in this session.

Do you feel like a majority of your time is spent managing crises? At the end of the day are you completely drained of energy and unable to accomplish anything of real significance? We live in a time sensitive world where overlapping commitments are the norm and the line between what’s urgent and important are inevitably blurred. How can you manage the flood of responsibilities, do quality work and maintain positivity? This interactive session will help reset your internal compass to achieve your highest personal and professional priorities.
