This session will cover GAAP developments and ongoing FASB projects of interest to not-for-profit (NFP) organizations and the CPA firms who serve them.  The session will include an in-depth discussion of the FASB's once-in-a-generation project to refresh the NFP financial reporting model, on which the FASB expects to issue a proposal (exposure draft) for public comment during the first quarter of 2015.

In fact, there are few companies that don't rely on IT to at least some extent to achieve their financial reporting, operating and compliance objectives.

This session explores the effect of IT on financial statement audits and what every auditor should know when planning an audit.
