As a state key person contact (KPC), you can play a vital role in advancing CPA and business interests in the legislative arena. You will become part of a well-connected legislative team that includes SCACPA's Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Legislative & Advocacy Committee, CPA-Political Action Committee, executive director and professional lobbyists.

While you don't need personal friends in the legislature to be an effective member of the KPC network, you should possess the desire to see that SCACPA's and profession's voices are heard in Columbia. With a few letters, phones calls and other contact with legislators from your local voting district, you can significantly impact decisions that affect our profession.

SCACPA provides all the tools you need to be a productive member of the legislative network, including legislative alerts, sample letters, phone scripts and staff support.

It's our responsibility to let legislators know where we stand on issues important to CPAs. If we don't, WHO will?
