Christopher Jenkins, CAE, CISSP
Chief Executive Officer
Chris is the new chief executive officer for the association and answers to the board of directors. As CEO, Chris will lead strategic planning initiatives, foster relationships with strategic partners, and promote and develop member services. A native of Ohio, he is a graduate of DeVry University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. A motorcycle enthusiast, Chris enjoys spending time with his family enjoying the great outdoors.
Reva Brennan, MPA, CAE, IOM
Chief Operating Officer
Reva is responsible for SCACPA operations and human resource oversight under direction of the chief executive officer. She serves as liaison to the CPE Committee, Business Valuation & Forensic and Litigation Services Task Force, Long Range Planning Task Force, Managing Partners Task Force, Members in Industry Task Force, and Taxation Committee. Having received her undergraduate degree from Columbia College and graduate degree from the University of South Carolina, it’s no surprise Reva is a Gamecock fan. As a children’s ministry team leader and tutor she enjoys spending time with children and shaping their futures. However, her favorite thing…hands down…is spending time with her family.
Membership & Digital Media Coordinator
Shana is responsible for managing the website, electronic
communications and social media. She also assists with membership. Shana
previously served as the health communications assistant at the South
Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy in Columbia. Shana is a
Winthrop University graduate where she earned her bachelor’s in
integrated marketing communication. When she’s not working, Shana enjoys
traveling,writing, video editing and following all things sports via
Peer Review & Administrative Coordinator
Sharon is responsible for administering the state's AICPA Peer Review Program and provides the office with administrative support. Sharon has 25 years of office experience. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, DIY projects and quiet time with her family.
Karen Hancock, CPA
Karen is a North Carolina native and a graduate of Western
Carolina University. She received her CPA license in 1999 and has
worked in private industry and public accounting since moving to
Columbia in 1983. Karen directs the financial affairs of the S.C.
Association of CPA’s and serves as key staff liaison for IT projects and
support. Along with the chief executive officer, Karen develops and
monitors budgets and estimates of revenues and expenses throughout the
fiscal year. Away from work, Karen enjoys activities in the company of
her two canine “children,” Jesse and Lulu.
Membership & Communications Coordinator
Lisa serves as graphic designer for the CPA Report and CPE marketing. In addition to handling the creative design aspect of SCACPA’s marketing and communication efforts, she also process new member applications and maintains the membership database. Prior to joining SCACPA, Lisa worked for the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum in Cheyenne, Wyo. and S.C. Farm Bureau Insurance Companies in Cayce, S.C. Lisa is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she earned a bachelor’s in public relations. She is married to Maj. Michael L. McGee, USAF, and they have two boys, Patrick and William.
Conferences and Events Manager
As a part of the CPE team, Meredith is responsible for planning and managing SCACPA conferences and special events. A native of South Carolina and graduate of Presbyterian College, Meredith honed her keen eye for detail and communication through her experience working in technology sales, the hospitality industry and with non-profit events. Meredith has a passion for community involvement and relishes all things art and interior design. When she’s not working, Meredith enjoys spending time on the water and traveling with family and friends.
